Concepts

Migratrix is a database DevOps platform for promoting schema and data changes across environments with approvals and an audit trail.

  • Workspace: environments, connections, users, and roles.
  • Environment: a stage such as DEV, QA, or PROD with its own access rules.
  • Flow / pipeline: the route a change takes between environments, including approvals. A pipeline is Manual or GitOps.
  • Change script: a SQL change set with status, audit, and rollback metadata.
  • Executor: the runtime in your network that holds credentials and talks to databases.
