Conversion Studio

  1. Select source and target environments, connections, databases, schemas, and model kinds.
  2. Run source analysis: entities, relationships, row counts, canonical model.
  3. Draft the target. Review model, field overrides, ER diagram, schema preview.
  4. Choose a one-time full load, or a snapshot plus change passes where the source exposes a change stream.
  5. Run with live progress, written/rejected counts, run history, and validation.

Relational, document and warehouse engines are drafted with the types and shape the target uses. Cutover is a one-time full load, or a snapshot plus change passes where the source exposes a change stream and it is enabled on the database.

UI sections: Analyze, Draft, Run, Validate. Live mode CDC defaults: snapshot first, slot name migratrix_cdc, change batch 500, poll every 1,000 ms, at most three change passes. Teardown-on-complete is off unless enabled. Same-engine and cross-engine conversion are licensed separately.
